Terms of use and community rules

1. Who can play

• You must be at least 13; where your country sets a higher age of digital consent (up to 16 in the EU), a parent’s consent is needed. The Game’s age rating is 12+ (stylised violence, chat between players).
• One person — one main account. You are responsible for your password and for what happens under your account.

2. Community rules: zero tolerance for objectionable content

The Game is shared: what you write and choose is seen by others. We do not tolerate the following — in chats (World, clan, private) or in a nickname, «About me», clan name or crest:

• insults, bullying, threats and harassment of players;
• hate speech and discrimination on race, origin, religion, sex, orientation or disability;
• sexual or indecent content, gratuitous cruelty, calls to violence or self-harm;
• publishing other people’s personal data, spam, advertising, fraud, pretending to be the staff or another player;
• infringing others’ rights, cheats, bots, evading bans, selling or trading accounts.

3. Reports, blocking and our measures

• You can report any message (the ⚑ icon on a message in World and clan chat, «Report» in private chats), «About me», and a clan name or crest (on a player or clan card).
• You can block a player in the same places: their messages vanish for you and you receive no more private messages from them.
• A moderator reviews the reports and aims to respond within 24 hours. Measures: removing a message or «About me», a 24-hour mute, banning the account. Serious violations are banned at once.
• Think a moderator was wrong? Write to support — we will review the decision.
• When an account is banned for breaking the rules, items and purchases are not refunded.

4. Your content

Everything you write and create in the Game remains yours. You give us the right to store it and show it to other players inside the Game — otherwise chat and rankings would not work. You are responsible for what you publish and confirm you have the right to publish it.

5. In-game items

Crowns, items, looks and progress exist only inside the Game, are not money or property and cannot be exchanged for money. We may change balance, rules and items to keep the game fair.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time: «More → Settings → Delete account». What exactly is deleted is described in the privacy policy.

7. For users of the iPhone app (Apple)

• This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
• We grant you a limited, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• We are solely responsible for maintenance and support of the app (contacts at the bottom of the page). Apple has no obligation to provide them.
• If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price (for a free app, nothing); Apple has no other warranty obligation to you.
• We, not Apple, handle any claims relating to the app (product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection) and any third-party intellectual property claims.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a «terrorist-supporting» country, and that you are not on any US list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with the terms of third-party services that the app connects to.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement: once you accept it, Apple may enforce it against you.

8. Liability

The Game is provided «as is», without a guarantee of uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect losses or loss of in-game items, except where the law does not allow that to be excluded: your statutory consumer rights in your country remain.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date of the version is shown at the top, and important changes are announced in the Game. This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
